change of heart

was anybody else disappointed with sally hansen diamond strength jewel overcoat in 503 multi-faceted?  trying to save a mani, i found a combination that turned my frown upside down.

i started with my dipped in gold mani (here), then added sally hansen diamond strength jewel overcoat in 503 multi-faceted and deborah lippmann happy birthday.

i wasn't planning on posting this but have received so many compliments i thought i would share.  my favorite... "o.m.g. your nails!  i am about obsessed with you right now..."

rainbow glitter

i'll admit that opi rainbow connection is a polish i should have passed on.  but how can you pass up a nail polish called rainbow connection?  the lovers, the dreamers, and me... i needed it in my life! 



the difference:  deborah lippmann happy birthday uses red and blue glitter while opi rainbow connection and sephora by opi spark-tacular! use magenta and aqua.  spark-tacular! and happy birthday have two sizes of glitter (although spark-tacular! is much more fine), while rainbow connection has three.

with fall just around the corner, the pretty pastels of warm summer days are coming to an end.  before deeper colors take over, i decided to paint my nails with my favorite color of the season topped with the gold glitter that i just can't get enough of.
